Student Learning Expectations
A SAINT THERESA STUDENT IS:
#1. A YOUNG PERSON OF FAITH WHO:
- Demonstrates the Catholic faith by learning the doctrine and practicing traditions
- Makes decisions based on gospel values
- Lives out Jesus' call to serve others
- Participates in prayer services and liturgies
- Displays appropriate concern for self and others
#2. A CONTRIBUTING CITIZEN WHO:
- Recognizes and respects the dignity of each persons cultures and traditions
- Understands the effects of historical events on the world today
- Participates in Saint Theresa School and parish community activities
- Responds to the needs of others by participating in service
- Is a steward of the environment
#3. AN ACTIVE, CREATIVE LEARNER WHO:
- Masters the curriculum to the best of his/her ability
- Communicates effectively, orally, visually, and in writing
- Uses information to think, question, and create
- Engages in the fine arts
