Annual Giving Program
Saint Theresa School is committed to educating the "whole child" in an environment that assures success for all students. The education and spiritual foundation that our children receive at Saint Theresa School will lead them to success in high school, college and beyond.
The cost of educating our children at St. Theresa, like all Catholic schools, continues to escalate. Revenue generated from tuition and fees does not cover these costs. The Annual Giving Program was initiated in 2003 as a means of bridging the "gap", or help cover the shortfall between the tuition received and actual costs.
The Annual Giving Program provides a tax-deductible alternative to raising tuition. Your donation becomes a gift to the school and, as such, is a tax-deductible contribution. Unlike tuition, which cannot be deducted, this gift provides a direct benefit to you, the donor, because your gift can be deducted for considerable tax savings.
All St.Theresa School parents are expected to make a gift to the Annual Giving Program each year. The requested amount for 2011-2012 is $600.00 per family.
Please remember, Annual Giving Program gifts...
- are tax deductible while tuition is not
- of any amount count equally toward participation totals and provide a positive profile for foundation and corporate support. The key to a successful Annual Giving Program is 100% parent participation.
Help support the operating budget in every way, including:
- teacher salaries, benefits, professional development
- Technology training and resources
- sports programs, equipment, referee fees
- classroom field trips
- student activities such as Student Council, fine arts performances and more
- all of the things that make our parish-community school wonderful and unique
Many corporations have matching gift programs. If you work for a company with such a program, please take advantage of this for our school. This is a simple, easy way to stretch your donation dollars.
