STAR Committee (Staff Appreciation)
This committee was created to recognize and reward our teachers and staff here at St. Theresa. STAR is comprised of parents who organize programs that promote a positive and supportive environment for the teachers and staff of the school. At Back to School Night, there is a tradition of recognizing faculty and staff who have been at St. Theresa for five, ten and fifteen years. Each milestone is marked with a commemorative gift to show our appreciation for the years of hard work and loyalty to the school.
Be a part of a committee that “twinkles” all of the time while “showering” our amazing St. Theresa staff with special treats throughout the year. Some of the ways you can “sparkle” while on this committee is helping to organize our monthly Gift Card drawings, managing the Teacher’s Favorite Things List, and brainstorming great ideas for Teacher Appreciation Week. You can also “shine” while baking monthly treats, handwriting birthday cards, counting box tops and organizing the winning class party. We meet only a few times a year, so the commitment isn’t “astronomical” but the rewards are “Earth shattering”.
