OneCause (formerly Schoolpop) provides a single place to shop at hundreds of well-known merchants and earn contributions to the St. Theresa Scrip program. All you need to do is go to www.onecause.com, register and designate St. Theresa School in Oakland, CA as your beneficiary of funds. Then, select the merchant that you want to make a purchase from and start your shopping. OneCause also offers coupons and deals to save money on your everyday purchases. At this time they do not offer a downloadable software that will re-direct you through their site if you forget to route a participating merchant through their site; however, they do offer their own toolbar.
By simply installing the OneCause Toolbar, you'll be making sure every eligible purchase counts, which could result in up to 5x more contributions, plus you can contribute up to 2 cents per qualified Yahoo! search. You can also register your credit and debit cards with OneCause as they have an in-store program similar to that of eScrip with neighborhood merchants. Also register your OneCause Visa® Platinum to earn a 1% contribution on total purchases made with your card plus up to a 9% contribution at Visa Rewards Merchants.
