Resource

St. Theresa School has a Resource Program to assist students in all grades who have special learning needs such as ADHD, dyslexia, visual and auditory disorders. The resource teachers work with classroom teachers, the administration and parents to support and assist students in the areas of reading, writing and math to ensure all our students who have a current (within 3 years) Individualized Education Program (IEP), formal diagnosis by a certified, licensed specialist of School/Education Psychologist or a diagnosis by a Medical Doctor (ADHD) reach their full learning potential.

Resource teachers use an assortment of instructional strategies and learning environments, interventions, and specialized curriculum and instruction (such as Lindamood Bell) to create an individualized learning program that best fits each student’s needs.
